- ஒழுங்கமைக்கப்பட்ட நகரப் பேருந்து சேவைகளை வலுப்படுத்தவும், நகர்ப்புற இயக்கத்தை மேம்படுத்தவும், எளிதாக வாழ்வதற்காகவும், 5 லட்சத்திற்கும் அதிகமான நகரங்களில் 20,000 நகரப் பேருந்துகளை அறிமுகப்படுத்தும் திட்டம் தொடங்கப்படும்.
- தூய்மையான எரிபொருளுடன் கூடிய அனைத்து வகையான புதிய பேருந்துகளின் கொள்முதல் (ஹைபிரிட்/பேட்டரி எலக்ட்ரிக் பேருந்துகள் தவிர, ஹெவி இண்டஸ்ட்ரீஸ் துறையின் (DHI) FAME திட்டத்தின் கீழ் ஏற்கனவே உள்ளடங்கியவை), அதனுடன் தொடர்புடைய உள்கட்டமைப்பு மற்றும் ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட காலத்திற்கு ஓபெக்ஸ் ஆதரவு ஆகியவை திட்டக் கூறுகளில் அடங்கும்.
- கொள்முதல் செய்யப்பட்ட 5 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு. இத்திட்டத்திற்காக சுமார் ₹15,000 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது ஆட்டோமொபைல் தொழிலை ஊக்குவிக்கும், நேரடி/மறைமுக வேலைவாய்ப்பை உருவாக்கும் மற்றும் கோவிட்-19 வழிகாட்டுதல்களை கடைபிடிக்க நகரங்களை எளிதாக்கும்,
- அதாவது நகர்ப்புற போக்குவரத்தில் சமூக இடைவெளி. இத்திட்டம் பொதுப் போக்குவரத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கும், நெரிசல், மாசு மற்றும் விபத்துகளை குறைக்க உதவும் மற்றும் இந்த நகரங்களில் சுத்தமான காற்றை ஊக்குவிக்கும்.
- இந்த திட்டம் பசுமை மற்றும் தூய்மையான நகர்ப்புற இயக்கம் திட்டங்களுக்கு உத்வேகத்தை வழங்குவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
- இது காலநிலை மாற்றம் தணிப்பு மற்றும் நிலைத்தன்மை இலக்குகளை சந்திக்கும் திசையில் ஒரு படியாகும். இந்த திட்டத்தின் கவனம் மோட்டார் அல்லாத போக்குவரத்து (NMT) உள்கட்டமைப்பை மேம்படுத்துதல், புதுமையான நகர்ப்புற போக்குவரத்து முறைகளை மேம்படுத்துதல், நுண்ணறிவு போக்குவரத்து அமைப்பு (ITS) வசதிகளை வலுப்படுத்துதல், பேருந்துகள் மற்றும் ஆற்றல் திறன் / சுத்தமான எரிபொருள் மற்றும் பிற தொழில்நுட்ப மற்றும் புதுமையான நடவடிக்கைகள் பசுமையான நகர்ப்புற போக்குவரத்துக்கு.
- பசுமை நகர்ப்புற இயக்கம் சவாலின் மூலம் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படும் திட்டங்களுக்காக சுமார் ₹ 3,000 கோடி இந்த திட்டத்தின் கீழ் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- பயண நடைமுறைகளில் ஏற்படும் மாற்றங்கள், நகர்ப்புற நகர்வு உள்கட்டமைப்பை மேம்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் பாதசாரிகள் / சைக்கிள் ஓட்டுதல் பாதைகள், கடைசி மைல் இணைப்பு போன்ற சேவைகள், தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப பயன்பாடுகளை மேம்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற நகர்வுத் திட்டங்களை செயல்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் நிதியளிப்பதில் புதுமைகளைப் பின்பற்றுதல் ஆகியவற்றின் மூலம் மாசு அளவைக் குறைக்க இது உதவும்.
ENGLISH
- A Scheme to induct over 20,000 city buses in 5 lakh plus cities including Hilly/ UT/ North East State capital cities (total: 111) will be launched to strengthen organized city bus services, improve urban mobility and ease in living.
- Scheme components include procurement, for city operations, of all types of new buses with clean fuel (excluding hybrid/ battery electric buses already covered under the FAME Scheme of Deptt of Heavy Industries (DHI)), associated infrastructure and opex support for a period of 5 years after procurement. An outlay of about ₹15,000 cr has been kept for this Scheme.
- It will boost automobile industry, generate direct/ indirect employment and facilitate the cities to adhere the Covid-19 guidelines i.e. social distancing in urban transport. Scheme will promote public transport, help in reducing congestion, pollution and accidents and promote clean air in these cities.
- This Scheme intends to provide impetus to green and clean urban mobility projects. It is a step in the direction of meeting climate change mitigation and sustainability goals.
- The focus of this Scheme is to improve Non-Motorised Transport (NMT) infrastructure, promote innovative urban transit modes, strengthen Intelligent Transport System (ITS) facilities, retrofitting buses & other modes for energy efficiency/ clean fuel, and other technological and innovative measures for green urban transport.
- An outlay of about ₹ 3,000 cr has been kept under this Scheme for projects, which will be selected through Green Urban Mobility Challenge.
- This will help in reducing pollution levels through changes in traveling practices, improvement of urban mobility infrastructure and services such as pedestrian/ cycling pathways, last mile connectivity, enhance Information Technology applications and adopt innovations in implementation and financing of urban mobility projects.
