Former Prime Minister of Japan shot dead
- Japan's former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot by a gunman while speaking at a campaign rally in Nara, Japan. He fell unconscious with a bullet in his chest and was taken away by the security guards. They were immediately taken to the hospital by helicopter.
- He was given intensive care. He wasn't breathing, his heart wasn't working. Hence, he was given artificial respiration. However, he died today without treatment. The incident in which the former prime minister of Japan was shot dead by a mysterious person has caused great shock.
