- கிசான் சாரதி என்பது ஒரு தேசிய கண்ணோட்டத்துடன் ஒரு உள்ளூர் இடத்தில் விவசாயத்தை ஆதரிப்பதற்கான ஒரு அறிவார்ந்த ஆன்லைன் விவசாய தொழில்நுட்ப தளமாகும்.
- கிசான் சாரதி, கிருஷி விக்யான் கேந்திராக்கள், நிறுவனங்கள் முதல் தலைமையகம் வரையிலான ஊடாடும் டாஷ்போர்டு மூலம் ஒவ்வொரு நிலை கண்காணிப்பு மற்றும் அறிக்கையிடல் வசதியை வழங்குகிறது.
- விவசாயிகளின் பதிவு, நேரடி அழைப்புகள், மொத்த அழைப்புகள், தள்ளப்பட்ட செய்திகள், கொடுக்கப்பட்ட ஆலோசனைகள் மற்றும் நிலுவையில் உள்ள ஆலோசனைகள் போன்ற அன்றாட நடவடிக்கைகளைப் பார்க்கவும் கண்காணிக்கவும் பல்வேறு நிலைகளில் உள்ள அதிகாரிகளுக்கு இந்த தளம் உதவுகிறது.
- மத்திய விவசாயம் மற்றும் விவசாயிகள் நலத்துறை அமைச்சர் மற்றும் மத்திய மின்னணு மற்றும் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப அமைச்சர் ஆகியோர் கூட்டாக இதனைத் தொடங்கி வைத்தனர்.
- விவசாயிகள் விரும்பும் மொழியில் 'சரியான நேரத்தில் சரியான தகவலை' பெறுவதற்கு இது டிஜிட்டல் தளமாகும்.
- விவசாயம் மற்றும் அதனுடன் தொடர்புடைய பகுதிகள் குறித்த தனிப்பட்ட ஆலோசனைகளை க்ரிஷி விக்யான் கேந்திராவின் (கேவிகேக்கள்) அந்தந்த விஞ்ஞானிகளிடமிருந்து நேரடியாக விவசாயிகள் தொடர்பு கொள்ளவும், பெறவும் இது உதவும்.
- அதை பயன்படுத்தி விவசாயிகள் புதிய விவசாய முறைகளையும் கற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம்.
- இது இந்தியாவில் ஒரு விவசாய விரிவாக்க மையம். பொதுவாக உள்ளூர் விவசாயப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்துடன் தொடர்புடையது, இந்த மையங்கள் ICAR மற்றும் விவசாயிகளுக்கு இடையேயான இறுதி இணைப்பாக செயல்படுகின்றன, மேலும் விவசாய ஆராய்ச்சியை நடைமுறை, உள்ளூர்மயமாக்கப்பட்ட அமைப்பில் பயன்படுத்துவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளன.

- KVK திட்டமானது இந்திய அரசாங்கத்தால் 100% நிதியுதவி பெறுகிறது மற்றும் KVK கள் விவசாயப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள், ICAR நிறுவனங்கள், தொடர்புடைய அரசுத் துறைகள் மற்றும் விவசாயத்தில் பணிபுரியும் அரசு சாரா நிறுவனங்கள் (NGOs) ஆகியவற்றிற்கு அனுமதிக்கப்படுகின்றன.
- கேவிகேக்கள் ஆய்வகங்களுக்கும் விவசாய நிலங்களுக்கும் இடையே பாலமாகச் செயல்படுகின்றன. அரசாங்கத்தின் கூற்றுப்படி, 2022-க்குள் விவசாயிகளின் வருமானத்தை இரட்டிப்பாக்கும் இலக்கை நிறைவேற்றுவதற்கு இவை முக்கியமானவை.
- Kisan Sarathi is an Intelligent Online Agricultural Technology Platform for supporting agriculture at a local niche with a national perspective.
- The Kisan Sarathi provides the facility for each level of monitoring and reporting through an interactive dashboard ranging from the Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Institutes to the Headquarters.
- The platform enables the officials at the various levels to view and monitor the daily activities like farmers’ registration, live calls, total calls, messages pushed, given advisories and pending advisories, etc.
- It was jointly launched by the Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and the Union Minister of Electronics & Information Technology.
- It is a digital platform to facilitate farmers to get ‘right information at right time’ in their desired language.
- It will help farmers to interact and avail personalised advisories on agriculture and allied areas directly from the respective scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVKs).
- Farmers can also learn new farming methods using it.
- It is an agricultural extension center in India. Usually associated with a local agricultural university, these centers serve as the ultimate link between the ICAR and farmers, and aim to apply agricultural research in a practical, localized setting.
- It is an integral part of the National Agricultural Research System (NARS).
- The first KVK was established in 1974 at Puducherry.
- The mandate of KVK is technology assessment and demonstration for its application and capacity development.
- KVKs also produce quality technological products (seed, planting material, bio-agents, livestock) and make it available to farmers.
- The KVK scheme is 100% financed by the Government of India and the KVKs are sanctioned to Agricultural Universities, ICAR institutes, related Government Departments and Non Government Organizations (NGOs) working in Agriculture.
- KVKs act as a bridge between the laboratories and farmland. According to the Government, these are crucial to fulfilling the target of doubling farmers’ income by 2022.
