- எண்ணும் எழுத்தும் திட்டத்தின் மூலம், அரும்பு, மொட்டு, மலர் என்று மூன்று படிநிலைகளில் 1 முதல் 3ஆம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களுக்கு ஆங்கிலம், கணிதம் மற்றும் தமிழ் ஆகிய பாடங்களில் பயிற்சி அளிக்க முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- 2025ம் ஆண்டிற்குள் 8வயது உள்ள குழந்தைகளை எழுதுதல் மற்றும் வாசித்தலில் திறனுடையவர்களாக மாற்ற இத்திட்டம் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டுள்ளது. இத்திட்டத்தால் சுமார் 18 லட்சத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் பயன் பெறுவார்கள் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
- ஒன்று முதல் 3ம் வகுப்பு வரையிலான மாணவர்களுக்கு கற்றல் வாசித்தல் திறனை அதிகரிப்பதற்காக, 'எண்ணும் எழுத்தும்' திட்டத்தை தமிழக முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
- கொரோனா காலகட்டத்தில் ஆரம்ப பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு வாசித்தல் திறனும், எழுதும் திறனும் குறைந்துள்ளது. இதனை களைந்திடும் வகையில், ஒன்று முதல் மூன்றாம் வகுப்பு வரையான அரசு மற்றும் அரசு நிதியுதவி பெறும் பள்ளிகளில் படிக்கும் மாணவர்களுக்கு, எண்ணும் எழுத்தும் என்ற திட்டம் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- அதன்படி மூன்றாம் வகுப்பு வரையிலான குழந்தைகளுக்கு எழுத்துக்களை வாசித்தல், எழுதுதல், வாக்கியங்களை சரளமாக வாசித்தல் ஆகிய பயிற்சிகள் அளிக்கப்பட உள்ளன. அந்தவகையில் அரும்பு, மொட்டு, மலர் என்கிற மூன்று படிநிலைகளில் பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.
அரும்பு, மொட்டு, மலர்
- இதில் அரும்பு என்கிற படிநிலையில் எண்கள் மற்றும் எழுத்துக்கள் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்ட பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படும். மொட்டுக்கள் என்கிற படிநிலையில் எண்கள் மற்றும் எழுத்துக்களை மாணவர்கள் வாசிப்பதற்கு பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படும்.
- மலர் என்கிற படிநிலையில் சரளமாக வாக்கியங்களை வாசிக்கும் பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படும்.
- தமிழ், ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் கணிதம் ஆகிய மூன்று பாடங்களில் இந்த பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.
- இதற்காக ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு பிரத்தியேகமாக பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதற்கென தமிழ்நாடு மாநில கல்வியியல் ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் பயிற்சி நிறுவனத்தின் சார்பில் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு கையேடுகள் தயாரித்து வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- இதற்காக மாணவர்களுக்கும் பயிற்சி கையேடுகளும் பள்ளிக் கல்வித்துறை சார்பில் வழங்கப்பட்டு பயிற்சிகள் அளிக்கப்படும்.
- எண்ணும் எழுத்தும் திட்டம் தொடர்பான காணொலி, கைபேசி செயலி, திட்ட பாடல் ஆகியவற்றை முதலமைச்சர் வெளியிட்டுள்ளார்.
- இந்தத் திட்டத்தின் மூலம் எழுதுதல் மற்றும் வாசிக்கும் திறனை மேம்படுத்துவதன் வாயிலாக மாணவர்கள் கொரொனா காலகட்டத்தில் இழந்த எழுதுதல் மற்றும் வாசிக்கும் திறனை மீட்டெடுக்க முடியும் என பள்ளிக் கல்வித்துறை அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.
- Through the counting and writing program, it has been decided to train 1st, 3rd class students in English, Mathematics and Tamil in three stages namely bud, bud and flower.

- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has launched the 'Counting and Writing' program to enhance the learning and reading skills of students in grades one to three.

- The training is offered in three subjects namely Tamil, English and Mathematics.
- Teachers have been specially trained for this. Manuals have been prepared and distributed to teachers on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Institute of Educational Research and Training.
- For this, training manuals and training manuals will be provided on behalf of the school education department.
- The Chief Minister has released a video, mobile processor and project song related to the counting and writing project.
- School education officials say the program will help students regain the writing and reading skills they lost during the Corona period by improving their writing and reading skills.
