Abilash Barak takes charge as the first female fighter pilot

  • The Royal Air Force of the British Army started a military air force in our country in 1942. Its first aircraft was launched in 1947. The Special Air Force for our Army was launched in 1986.
  • In this, women were never fighter pilots. Meanwhile, Abilasha Barak became the first female fighter pilot in our Army Air Force. Abilashah also took charge yesterday along with 36 army pilots who had completed their training.
Sales of 29.5% stake in Hindustan Zinc - Union Cabinet Approval

  • Vedanta currently owns 64.92% of Hindustan Zinc. Of this, 29.5 per cent of the US government-owned shares are currently up for sale, leaving the entire company in the hands of the US government.
India-Bangladesh Naval Joint Exercise Pongosagar begins
  • The third Bongosagar Joint Exercise between India and Bangladesh Navy commenced on May 24, 2022 at the Port of Mongala in Bangladesh. Port training will take place on May 24 and 25, followed by naval training on May 26 and 27 in the northern part of the Bay of Bengal.
