Launch of 'Ensure Nutrition' project - Launched by Chief Minister MK Stalin
- In a statement issued under Chief Minister MK Stalin's Rule No.110 at the May 7 meeting, he said, "The government has decided to provide medical assistance to children in need of medical assistance and a special nutrition program for children in need of nutrition, with the aim of raising children under 6 years of age in good health." - In order to implement it, the Department of Integrated Child Development Services and the Department of Health are working together to specialize in severe and moderate malnutrition in children under 6 years of age, to distinguish between children in need of medical care and children in need of malnutrition, and to eliminate child malnutrition.
- To this end, Chief Minister MK Stalin launched a special medical examination camp for children at the Muthora Children's Center under a new program called 'Ensure Nutrition'.
- The Chief Minister also announced at the 'Udagai-200' function that a dedicated center would be set up to export goods produced in the Nilgiris.
- IPS Officer Vivek Kumar has been appointed as the Personal Secretary to the Prime Minister. Sanjeev Kumar, an IPS officer currently in office, has been appointed Indian Ambassador to Israel.
