Laser weapon to destroy target for the first time in the world - Israel test success

  • For the first time in the world, Israel has successfully tested a new laser missile-defense system, the 'Iron Beam', which can intercept and destroy a wide variety of aerial objects, including missiles, rockets, anti-tank missiles and drones.
  • It will use lasers to shoot down incoming UAVs, rockets and motors at cost. It only costs $ 3.50 per shot.
Government decides to implement TB eradication program through health department
  • Central and State Governments are taking various measures to eradicate tuberculosis in India.
  • Accordingly, the National Tuberculosis Eradication Program is being implemented in all the states with the objective of eradicating tuberculosis by 2025. In Tamil Nadu, the rate of cure of tuberculosis is increasing due to diagnosis, combination drug treatment and continuous monitoring.

Egypt decides to buy wheat from India

Puducherry University recognized as 'Green Champion' by the Central Government
