- கொரோனா தொற்றால் பெற்றோர்களைக் இழந்தை குழந்தைகள் குறித்து உலகம் முழுவதும் 20 நாடுகளில் The Lancet ஆய்வு ஒன்றை நடத்தியுள்ளது. இதில்தான் 52 லட்சம் குழந்தைகள் பெற்றோர்களை இழந்து ஆதரவற்றவர்களாக உள்ளதாகத் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
- மேலும் இந்தியாவில் மட்டும் 19.17 லட்சம் குழந்தைகள் பெற்றோர்களை இழந்துள்ளனர். அதேபோல் பெரு, தென்னாப்பிரிக்கா நாடுகளில் பாதிக்கப்பட்டோர் குழந்தைகள் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகமாக உள்ளது.
- இதுபோல், தாத்தா, பாட்டிகளுடன் வளர்ந்து வந்த 18.33 லட்சம் குழந்தைகளும் அவர்களை இழந்து ஆதரவற்று போயிருப்பதும் ஆய்வில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
- மேலும் மே 1 முதல் அக்டோபர் 31ஆம் தேதிவரை கடந்த ஆறு மாதத்தில் மட்டுமே இந்த எண்ணிக்கை அதிகரித்துள்ளது. இந்த ஆய்வு முடிகளை பார்த்து உலக நாடுகள் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்துள்ளன.
