Implementation of watershed renewal scheme for agricultural development: Central Government, World Bank sign a Rs. 869 crore loan agreement
- The Central Government, the Governments of Karnataka and the Government of Odisha have signed agreements with the World Bank to implement a watershed renewal program for agricultural development through innovative development.
- This will enable organizations at the national and state levels to follow improved water management practices. This will enable farmers to increase their productivity and earn better returns by adopting climate change-friendly farming practices.
