- டாம்டாம் அமைப்பு 2021-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான உலகளாவிய போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் குறியீடு அறிக்கையை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
அதில் 58 நாடுகளில் உள்ள 404 நகரங்கள் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் அடிப்படையில் பட்டியலிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்தப் பட்டியலில், மும்பை 5-வது இடத்திலும், பெங்களூரு 10-வது இடத்திலும் உள்ளன. - டெல்லி 11, புனே 21வது இடத்தில் உள்ளன. இந்தப் பட்டியலில் இஸ்தான்புல் 1-வது இடத்திலும், மாஸ்கோ 2-வது இடத்திலும் உள்ளன.
- 2019-ம் ஆண்டுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் மும்பை, பெங்களூரு, டெல்லி, புனே ஆகிய நான்கு நகரங்களில் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் 23 சதவிதம் குறைந்துள்ளது என்று அந்த அறிக்கையில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- 2020-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் பட்டியலில் மும்பை 2-வது, பெங்களூரு 6-வது மற்றும் டெல்லி 10-வது இடத்திலும் இருந்தன.
- 2021-ம் ஆண்டுக்கான பட்டியலிலுள்ள 70 நகரங்களில் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசல் 2019-ம் ஆண்டைவிட அதிகரித்துள்ளது. அதே சமயம் 2019-ம் ஆண்டுடன் ஒப்பிடுகையில் மிக அதிக நெரிசல் என்று அடையாளப்படுத்தப்பட்ட நகரங்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 13-லிருந்து 6 ஆக குறைந்துள்ளது.
- The TomTom organization has released the Global Traffic Congestion Index for 2021. Of these, 404 cities in 58 countries are listed on the basis of traffic congestion. In this list, Mumbai is ranked 5th and Bangalore is ranked 10th.
- Delhi is 11th and Pune is 21st. Istanbul is ranked 1st and Moscow is ranked 2nd. According to the report, traffic congestion in Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi and Pune has reduced by 23 per cent compared to 2019.
- Mumbai was 2nd, Bangalore 6th and Delhi 10th in the 2020 list of traffic jams. Of the 70 cities on the list for 2021, traffic congestion has increased over 2019. At the same time, the number of cities identified as the most congested has dropped from 13 to 6 compared to 2019.
