Chinese spacecraft discovers water source on the moon
- In November 2020, China launched the Change-5 spacecraft to explore the moon. An instrument in the spacecraft's lander, which landed in the mid-high latitude region of the moon, measured the spectral reflection of the rock on the ground at that location.
- Later, the spacecraft returned to Earth with a rock sample weighing 1,731 grams. The rock sample was studied by scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The results were published in the journal Science Advances.
- Accordingly, it has been revealed that the rock formations on the surface of the moon contain 120 grams of water per ton. The reason for the high humidity on the lunar surface is the solar wind.
- Govind Singh, the 10th Guru of the Sikhs. His father and 9th Guru of the Sikhs, Tek Bahadur, fought for the protection of the Kashmir Pandits. Due to this, the then Mughal emperor Aurangzeb was assassinated.
