Introducing 6 brands of a product per district, under the Prime Minister's Small Food Processing Companies Regulation Scheme (PMFFME)
- Under the Prime Minister's Small Food Processing Companies Regulation (PMFME) scheme, 6 brands of a product per district will be set up by the Union Minister of Food Processing, Mr. Pasupathi Kumar Paras and Internet Minister Mr. Prahlad Singh Patel made his debut at the Panchsheel Bhavan in New Delhi.
- The Ministry of Food Processing Industry has entered into an agreement with the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation to produce 10 branded food items per district, under a single production plan.
- These included nelly juice called Amrit Buffalo, coriander powder called Cory Gold, spices called Kashmiri Mantra, honey called Madhu Mantra, ragi flour called Somdana, and wheat cookies from Delhi Box.

First female captain of a US nuclear ship
- For the first time in US Navy history, a woman has been appointed captain of the USS Abraham Lincoln, the country's nuclear-armed ship. In the history of the U.S. Navy, women have never led a nuclear-armed warship. This record is currently being broken.
- Amy Barnshimit, a female captain of the USS nuclear-armed warship Abraham Lincoln, served as the ship's executive officer from 2016-19.
List of major banks SBI, ICICI, HDFC - Reserve Bank
- SBI, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have been identified in the D-SIP list (D-SIP). According to the Reserve Bank of India, the same banks were included in the list of major banks in the year 2020. The Reserve Bank announced that SBI and ICICI Bank were included in the D-SIP list in 2015 and 2016.
- Further, on 31st March 2017, the Reserve Bank announced that HDFC Bank was also included in the list based on the data collected from the banks.
3.68 crore registered in Atal pension scheme in 6 years
- Atal has so far registered Rs 3.68 crore in the pension scheme. In the current financial year alone, more than 65 lakh subscribers have registered. The performance of this pension scheme is excellent in this financial year. It has been 6 years since the launch of the scheme and the maximum number of subscribers has joined in the current financial year.
- Males constitute 56 percent of the population and females 44 percent. The value of the property under this pension management is approximately Rs. 20,000 crore.
- The Atal Pension Scheme is the flagship social security scheme of the Government of India. In particular, it aims to provide income security in old age to citizens in the informal sector. The project was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 9, 2015.
Sports Authority of India approves extension of National Camp for 117 Athletes till March 31
- The Sports Authority of India has approved the extension of the National Camp to 117 athletes with 45 coaches at 5 locations to prepare for the Asian Games to be held in Birmingham later this year, the Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou until March 31.
- Camps for 64 players and 53 athletes are being held at 5 locations in Patiala, Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore, New Delhi and Balochistan. Training camps are held for racing, hurdles, walking, long jump, discus throw, shot put, javelin throw, marathon, hammer throw and hepatolon.
