Chief Minister Stalin presents Anna Medal for heroic deeds to 8 persons; Rs. 1 lakh check
- On the occasion of the 73rd Republic Day of the country, Chief Minister Stalin will present the Anna Medal for heroic deeds to 8 persons in Tamil Nadu at the Republic Day celebrations to be held in Chennai.
- Award to TP Chattram Police Inspector Rajeswari for lifting a fighter on his shoulder.
- Award to the DMK for saving the people of the area during the Tiruvottiyur building accident.
- Award to Rajiv Gandhi, a firefighter who rescued people trapped in floods in Thiruvennallur, Villupuram.
- Coimbatore Wildlife Assistant Physician Asokan receives the award.
- Award to Muthukrishnan, the driver of the car that rescued the victims of the accident near Madurai.
- Lokith, a 4th class boy from Kapadariya Tethulukkampatti, who drowned near Manapparai, Trichy, is awarded the Anna Medal for Heroic Action 2022.
- Sokkanathan and Sudha, who saved 5 girls from drowning in Tirupur, are being given the Anna Award for Heroic Action 2022.
- Six soldiers have been awarded the 'Sauriya Chakra' for their heroic deeds on the eve of Republic Day. Every year during the Republic Day celebrations, it is customary to present awards to veterans who have performed heroic deeds.
- The awards for this year were presented yesterday. Accordingly, six soldiers have been awarded the Sauriya Chakra, the third highest award of the Indian Army. It is noteworthy that it has been given to five people who died heroically.
