- இந்திய பட்ஜெட்களில் பிரபலமான பட்ஜெட்களும் உண்டு, பெயர் வாங்கிய பட்ஜெட்களும் (Budgets of India) உண்டு. கருப்பு பட்ஜெட் என்றும் மில்லினியம் பட்ஜெட் என்றும் பல்வேறு பெயர் பெற்ற பட்ஜெட்கள் இருந்தாலும், அவற்றில் சில பட்ஜெட்கள் இவை.
- இந்தியாவின் முதல் பட்ஜெட் ஏப்ரல் 7, 1860 அன்று அப்போதைய நிதி அமைச்சர் ஜேம்ஸ் வில்சனால் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது. சுதந்திர இந்தியாவின் முதல் மத்திய பட்ஜெட்டை1947-ஆம் ஆண்டில் தாக்கல் செய்தார் ஆர்.கே.சண்முகம் செட்டியார்.
- 1973-74ல் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்ட மத்திய பட்ஜெட், 'கருப்பு பட்ஜெட்' என்று விமர்சனங்களை சந்தித்தது. அதற்கு காரணம், அந்த பட்ஜெட்டில் 550 கோடி ரூபாய் பற்றாக்குறை இருந்தது.
- காங்கிரஸ் ஆட்சியில், நரசிம்மராவ் அரசாங்கத்தின் கீழ் நிதியமைச்சர் மன்மோகன் சிங், உலகமயமாக்கலை இந்தியாவிற்கு வ்ரவேற்கும் நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுத்தார்.
- இறக்குமதி உரிமம் மற்றும் ஏற்றுமதியை ஊக்குவிக்கும் நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்தார். இந்த பட்ஜெட் (Union Budget), மாற்றத்துக்கான பட்ஜெட், உலகமயமாக்கலுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்த பட்ஜெட் என்று பெயர் பெற்றது.
- 2002-03ல் யஷ்வந்த் சின்ஹா தாக்கல் செய்த பட்ஜெட், இந்திய வரவுசெலவு திட்டங்களில் சிறப்பானதாக கூறப்பட்ட்டது. The Rollback Budget என்ற பெயர் பெற்ற பட்ஜெட்,, அப்போதைய NDA அரசாங்கத்தில் நிதியமைச்சராக இருந்த சின்ஹாவால் தாக்கல் செய்யப்பட்டது.
- பல திட்டங்களைத் திரும்பப் பெற வேண்டியிருந்ததால், இது 'ரோல்பேக் பட்ஜெட்' என்று அறியப்பட்டது. இந்த பட்ஜெட்டில், ஐடி துறைக்கான முக்கியத்துவம் முதல் முதலில் அறிமுகமானது. ஐடி துறையின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு ஊக்கமளித்த பட்ஜெட் இது.
- அன்றைய நிதியமைச்சர் ப. சிதம்பரம் தாக்கல் செய்த 1997-98 பட்ஜெட், தனிநபர் வருமான வரி மற்றும் கார்ப்பரேட் வரி குறைப்பு உள்ளிட்ட முக்கிய சீர்திருத்தங்களுக்கான திருப்பத்தை ஏற்படுத்துவதாக இருந்ததால் அமைத்ததால், 'கனவு பட்ஜெட்' என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டது.
Carrot and Stick Budget
- 1986 பட்ஜெட் கேரட் அண்ட் ஸ்டிக் பட்ஜெட் (Carrot and Stick) என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டது. அன்றைய நிதியமைச்சர் வி.பி சிங் தாக்கல் செய்த அந்த பட்ஜெட்டில், நன்மைகளும், பின்னடைவுகளும் கலந்து இருந்ததாக கூறப்பட்டது. எனவே, அந்த பட்ஜெட்டிற்கு, கேரட் அண்ட் ஸ்டிக் என்று விமர்சனங்கள் எழுந்தன.
- Indian budgets include popular budgets and well-known budgets (Budgets of India). Although there are different budgets known as the Black Budget and the Millennium Budget, these are just a few of them.
- India's first budget was presented on April 7, 1860 by the then Minister of Finance, James Wilson. RK Shanmugam Chetty presented the first Union Budget of Independent India in 1947.
