- இந்திய ராணுவம் தனது வீரர்களுக்கு அதிக வசதி மற்றும் நீடித்து உழைக்கும் தன்மை வாய்ந்த புது சீருடையை ஜனவரி 15ஆம் தேதி அறிமுகப்படுத்தவுள்ளது.
- இந்திய ராணுவ தினம் ஜனவரி 15ஆம் தேதி கடைப்பிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த நாளில் 13 லட்சம் பேர் கொண்ட இந்திய ராணுவத்துக்கு புது வடிவ சீருடை அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்படவிருக்கிறது.
- இந்திய ராணுவத்தினருக்கான புதிய சீருடையை தேசிய ஆயத்த ஆடை தொழில்நுட்ப நிறுவனத்துடன் (NIFT) இணைந்து இந்திய ராணுவம் உருவாக்கியுள்ளது. இந்த புது வடிவ சீருடை அமெரிக்க ராணுவத்தினர் பயன்படுத்தும் டிஜிட்டல் அச்சு வடிவிலான அம்சத்தைக் கொண்டது.
- பல்வேறு நாடுகளில் புழக்கத்தில் இருக்கும் ராணுவ சீருடைகளை ஆய்வு செய்து, இந்த புதிய டிஜிட்டல் சீருடை இறுதி செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாறுபட்ட தட்பவெப்ப நிலைகளிலும், காடு, மலை, பனிக்காலங்களில் பணியாற்றும் வீரர்களுக்கு உகந்ததாகவும் இந்த ஆடை இருக்கும்.
- இந்த சீருடையில் மேல்சட்டையை ராணுவத்தினர் கால்சட்டைக்குள் சொருகிக் கொள்ள வேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லை. வெளியே தொங்க விட்டிருக்க வேண்டும்.
- புதிய உருமறைப்பு வண்ணக்கலவை சீருடை மஞ்சள் மண் நிறம், பச்சை மற்றும் ஆலிவ் நிறங்களைக் கொண்டு வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- இந்திய ராணுவ தின கொண்டாட்ட வரலாற்றிலேயே முதல் முறையாக, வெவ்வேறு காலகட்டத்தில், குறிப்பாக சுதந்திரத்துக்கு முந்தைய காலங்களில் இருந்தது முதல் தற்காலம் வரை இந்திய ராணுவ பயன்படுத்தி வந்த சீருடைகளில் வீரர்கள் அணி, அணியாக அணிவகுத்துச் செல்வர்.
- அந்தந்த காலகட்டத்தில் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்ட ஆயுதங்களையும் வீரர்கள் அணிவகுப்பில் ஏந்திச் செல்வர்.
- இந்த சீருடையில் பெண் வீராங்கனைகளுக்கும் வசதியாக இருக்கக் கூடிய மாற்றங்கள் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன. குடியரசு தின அணிவகுப்பில் இந்த புதிய சீருடையிலேயே ராணுவ வீரர்கள் அணிவகுத்து செல்வர்.
- இந்த ராணுவ சீருடைகள் வெளி சந்தையில் விற்பனைக்கு வராது. அரசு அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட கடைகளில் மட்டுமே இதை பெற முடியும். போலிகளை கண்டறியும் வகையில் இந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
- இந்த புதிய சீருடை தேசிய அளவில் முழுமையாக அமல்படுத்த 6 முதல் 8 மாதங்களவரை ராணுவ பிராந்திய தலைமையகங்களுக்கு அவகாசம் வழங்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
