Vaccination for 15-18 year olds from January 3: Prime Minister Modi announces
- We have been witnessing the gradual decline in the incidence of coronavirus in India over the last two years due to the speed with which the Central Health Department and the State Government Health Department in India have been vaccinating.
- It is noteworthy that in this situation the Central Government has advised the State Governments to be extra vigilant in the wake of the new virus now spreading across the country again called Omigron.
- In this context, Prime Minister Modi while addressing the people of the country said that 15 to 18 year olds will be vaccinated from January 3. He also said that the work of giving additional installments of vaccine will start from January 10.
- Named 'James Webb', the space telescope was launched by a European Ariane rocket from a rocket launch site in French Guiana off the northeastern coast of South America. Built at a cost of Rs 1000 crore (Rs 75,000 crore), the telescope will cover a distance of 16 lakh km and will be launched into space. It will take a month to reach that distance.
- It then took another 5 months to prepare to explore the universe through the telescope's infrared rays. The main purpose of the James Webb Telescope is to study the early stars that formed after the Big Bang, which is considered the beginning of the universe, and to learn more about the universe.
- Imtiaz Suliman is a doctor from South Africa. Eva, who is of Indian descent, has started and run a self-help organization called 'Gift of the Quiz'. The organization has carried out relief work in more than 44 countries affected by natural disasters such as earthquakes and war-affected countries.
- The organization has assisted during natural disasters not only in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa but also in India and Pakistan. South Africa's daily daily 'Daily Maverick' has honored Imtiaz Sullivan with the 'Best South Africa of the Year' award.
- It is noteworthy that Imtiaz has already been awarded the highest civilian award in South Africa.
- From last 20th till yesterday, the Central and State Governments jointly observed the Best Management Week. During these six days, more than three crore petitions filed by the people regarding various services including land deeds, birth and death documents and marriage registration were resolved.
- More than six lakh grievances of the general public were resolved. Of this, 1.3 crore service petitions have been settled in Andhra Pradesh alone, which is ruled by the YSR Congress led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.
- Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that all deserving people in Delhi have been given the first batch of corona vaccine. One crore 48,33,000 people in the capital are eligible for the corona vaccine.
- The National Book Foundation, under the auspices of the Union Ministry of Education, today announced the results of the All India Competition held under the theme 'Indian National Movement' under the Prime Minister's Junior Writers' Guidance Program as part of the Amrita Festival of Liberation.
- Under this scholarship-guided program, 75 young writers under the age of 30 have been selected.
- Of the 75 writers selected, 38 were men and 37 were women. Two are under 15 years old. 16 writers are between the ages of 15-20. 32 in the 21-25 range and 25 in the 26-30 age range have been selected. JU Sukana, G. Saravanan and K. Geetha, who have written books in Tamil, have been selected.
