Abhinandan appointed Group Captain - Approval by Indian Air Force
- Following the Pulwama attack, on February 26, 2016, India launched a precision strike on militant camps in the Balakot area of Pakistan. The next day, in retaliation, Pakistani warplanes entered Indian airspace and were chased by Indian Air Force aircraft.
- Abhinandan Vardhaman, then the Wing Commander of the Indian Air Force, shot down a Pakistani warplane and crashed into the Pakistani border. He was captured by the Pakistani army. These incidents created tensions between India and Pakistan. Pakistan then accepted India's request and released Abhinandan 3 days later.
- Then Abhinandan rose to be a real hero in the minds of Indians. He was honored with the Veer Chakra Award last year. In this context, the Indian Air Force has approved the appointment of Abhinandan Vardhaman as Group Captain and he will be promoted after completion of a certain procedure.
- The Kedarnath temple was damaged in a devastating flood in Uttarakhand in 2013. Also, the tomb of Adi Guru Sankaracharya, which was near the temple, was also taken away. Work to repair the damage has been underway since 2019.
- Prime Minister Modi unveiled the statue of Adi Guru Sankaracharya, which was swept away by heavy rains in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand. He also laid the foundation stone for a Rs 400 crore project in Kedarpuri.

- Out of the 6 books that participated in the final round, 'The Promise' has been selected and the prize money of Rs. 50.21 lakh is to be given to Damon Calcutta. It is noteworthy that Damon had previously been selected 2 times until the final round of the Booker Prize.
- The Global Climate Change Conference on Global Climate Change has been held in Glasgow, Scotland since November 31. Stopping coal production is seen as a key factor in controlling carbon emissions being discussed at the conference.
- As a result, 40 countries around the world have signed and ratified an agreement to halt coal production to prevent the effects of climate change. Twenty-three countries, including Poland, Ukraine, Indonesia, South Korea and Vienna, have announced they will abandon their decision to build new coal plants.
- Countries including China, the United States, India and Australia have stated that they will not immediately suspend coal production in the current context and will phase out production by 2040.
