- ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் மாநில அரசுகளின் ஆட்சி நிர்வாகம் மற்றும் நலத்திட்டங்களை கருத்தில்கொண்டு PAI தர குறியீடு வெளியிடப்படுவது வழக்கம். அதாவது பொது விவகாரக் குறியீடு (Public Affairs Index) என்ற தர மதிப்பீடு வெளியிடப்படும்.
- ஒவ்வொரு மாநிலத்தில் நடக்கும் ஆட்சி மற்றும் மக்கள் நலத்திட்டங்களை அடிப்படையாக வைத்து அம்மாநில அரசுக்கு மதிப்பெண் வழங்கப்படும். வளர்ச்சி, சமத்துவம், நிலையான தன்மை ஆகிய மூன்று விஷயங்களை அடிப்படையாக வைத்து இந்த தரவரிசை வெளியிடப்படும்
- பெங்களூரை சேர்ந்த Public Affairs Centre என்ற தனியார் அமைப்பு இந்த அறிக்கையை வெளியிட்டு வருகிறது. மாநில அரசுகளை கவனமாக ஆராய்ந்து கடந்த 5 வருடமாக இந்த அறிக்கையை Public Affairs Centre வெளியிட்டு வருகிறது. இதில் முதல் வருடத்தில் இருந்து இப்போது வரை கேரளாதான் அதிக PAI புள்ளிகளை பெற்று முதலிடம் வகித்து வருகிறது.
- இந்த முறையும் கேரளா மொத்தமாக 1.618 புள்ளிகளை பெற்று தரவரிசையில் சிறந்த நிர்வாகம் கொண்ட மாநிலமாக முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளது.
- கடந்த வருடம் இரண்டாம் இடம் பிடித்திருந்த தமிழ்நாடு இந்த வருடமும் 0.897 புள்ளிகளோடு இரண்டாம் இடம் பிடித்துள்ளது. மூன்றாவது இடத்தை இன்னொரு தென்னிந்திய மாநிலமான தெலுங்கானா 0.897 புள்ளிகளோடு பெற்றுள்ளது.
- சட்டீஸ்கர் - 4வது இடம், 0.872 புள்ளிகள்
- குஜராத் - 5வது இடம், 0.782 புள்ளிகள்
- பஞ்சாப் - 6வது இடம், 0.643புள்ளிகள்
- கர்நாடகா - 7வது இடம், 0.121 புள்ளிகள்
- ஆந்திர பிரதேசம் - 8வது இடம், 0.077 புள்ளிகள்
- முதல் 10 இடங்களுக்குள் 5 தென்னிந்திய மாநிலங்கள் வந்துவிட்டது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. சிறிய மாநிலங்களில் சிக்கிம் 0.907 புள்ளிகளோடு முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளது.
- உத்தர பிரதேசம் இதில் கடைசி இடம் பிடித்துள்ளது. -1.418 புள்ளிகளை மட்டுமே பெற்று கடைசி இடத்தை உத்தர பிரதேசம் பிடித்துள்ளது.
- இந்தியாவில் மோசமான ஆட்சி நிர்வாகம் கொண்ட மாநிலமாக உத்தர பிரதேசம் இந்த புள்ளிகள் பட்டியலில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. சமத்துவம், நிலையான தன்மை ஆகியவை மிக குறைவாக உள்ளதால் உத்தர பிரதேசம் இதில் பின்னடைவை சந்தித்துள்ளது,
- It is customary for the PAI quality code to be issued each year in consideration of the governance and welfare schemes of the State Governments. That is, the Public Affairs Index will be published.
- The state government will be given a score based on the governance and public welfare schemes in each state. The rankings are based on three factors: growth, equality and sustainability
- The report is being released by the Bangalore-based Public Affairs Center. The Public Affairs Center has been publishing this report for the last 5 years, carefully examining the state governments. From the first year till now, Kerala has topped the list with the highest number of PAI points.
- This time Kerala scored a total of 1.618 points and topped the list as the best managed state. Tamil Nadu, which was second last year, is second this year with 0.897 points. Telangana, another South Indian state, is in third place with 0.897 points.
- Chhattisgarh - 4th place, 0.872 points
- Gujarat - 5th place, 0.782 points
- Punjab - 6th place, 0.643 points
- Karnataka - 7th place, 0.121 points
- Andhra Pradesh - 8th place, 0.077 points
- Sikkim topped the list of smaller states with 0.907 points.
- Uttar Pradesh ranks last. Uttar Pradesh finished last with only -1,418 points. Uttar Pradesh is listed as one of the worst governed states in India. Uttar Pradesh has suffered a setback as equality and stability are very low
