Change in Parliamentary Standing Committees - Appointment of Sushil Modi as the Chairman of the Personnel and Legal Affairs Committee
- Parliamentary Standing Committees carry out the important task of reviewing matters of national interest, controversial bills, etc. and making appropriate recommendations to the United States Government.
- These groups are usually reshuffled in September each year. Accordingly, the General Secretariat issued a report on the changes in the 24 Parliamentary Standing Committees. In this, Sushilkumar Modi has been appointed as the Chairman of the Personnel and Legal Standing Committee. It is the main body for reporting on the finances of political parties.
- DMK MPs A.Rasa and P.Wilson and Virudhunagar Congress MP Manikkam Tagore are members of the committee. Sushil Modi has been appointed as the new chairman of the committee following the appointment of Bhupendra Yadav as the Union Minister.
- Senior Congress leader Sachitharur continues as chairman of the Information Technology Standing Committee. Congress' Anand Sharma continues to chair the Home Committee and Jairam Ramesh continues to chair the Science and Technology Committee. Rahul Gandhi continues to be a member of the Security Standing Committee.

- Sankalp School in Tiruvallur district has been working for the betterment of the lives of special children for about 20 years. About 200 children are studying in this school. A new Sankalp School has been set up at Kolappanchery near Poonamallee, Tiruvallur District to provide specialized training to children with learning disabilities and children with autism.
- The school offers specialized treatments for children with disabilities, such as physiotherapy and speech therapy. In addition, the children are given vocational training in jewelry making, gift making, weaving, data entry, soap making, spice making and face making.
- In this context, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin inaugurated the SANKALP School for Special Children through a video presentation.
