Union AYUSH Minister Shri Sarpanch Sono inaugurated 'Ayush Van' in Gandhidham
- Shri Sarpanch Sono, Minister for Central Ports, Shipping and Waterways and AYUSH inaugurated the AYUSH sky dedicated to Ayurvedic plants at an event held at the Deendayal Port Trust (DPT) - Rotary Forest.
- To improve greenery in urban areas and increase the density of trees in the Kutch region, the AYUSH van was set up on 30 acres of land allotted by DPT in the green-belt area where the trees will be planted. The Union Minister also planted a tree ahead of the opening ceremony.

- Mr. Rajiv Chandrasekhar, Associate Minister, Electronics & Information Technology, Skills Development and Entrepreneurship, attended the inaugural session of the International Conference on Digital Technologies and Exhibition organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry - CII "Future Technology 2021".
- The event is scheduled for October 19-27, 2021. It focuses on the five themes of strategy, development, determination, content, and trust.
- The 7th phase of excavations was carried out from Feb. 19 to Sept. 30 at 4 locations near Thiruppuvanam in Sivagangai district, namely Keezhadi, Kondagai, Agaram and Manalur. Several thousand artifacts were found in it. Work is currently underway to document the finds.
- The pits already dug in the 6 phase excavations were closed. But the pits dug in the 7-phase excavation will not be closed. As such, an open 'excavation deposit' will be set up for public viewing. This is the first time the excavation pits have been left open.
- Further, when exposed to the open air, the technology to protect the structures will be carried out by IIT Chennai. No decision has yet been made on the 8-stage excavation. The fish symbol is also engraved in the clay pit found in the 7-level excavation.
- India plans to donate 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat and medical equipment in view of the food crisis in Afghanistan. Aid will be provided to the people of Afghanistan on an unrestricted and humanitarian basis, regardless of India's relationship with the Taliban.
