Resolution passed by the Punjab Cabinet in favor of farmers

  • The Punjab cabinet has passed a resolution in support of the farmers' struggle against the central government's agricultural laws. Punjab Chief Minister Saranjit Singh Sunny has said that the federal government's agricultural laws are against farmers and against food security.
  • He also urged the federal government to accept the resolution passed in the legislature urging the repeal of these laws.
14th Meeting of the Cauvery Management Authority

  • This road is to be constructed at a distance of 133 km from Pooncherry near Mamallapuram to connect Ennore port. In the first phase, a 6-lane roundabout will be constructed from Ennore Port to Thachur via Andhra Pradesh Highway AH45 at a cost of Rs. 2,100 crore.
