Launch of new website for business development - Kashmir will attract Rs 50,000 crore investment

Atal Pension Scheme

• More than 28 lakh new accounts have been opened in the financial year 2021-22 under the Atal Pension Scheme guaranteed by the Government of India. The total number of accounts has crossed 3.30 crore as on August 25, 2021.
• In Tamil Nadu, a total of 24,55,438 people have so far enrolled in the Atal pension scheme. According to data released by the Central Government, Tamil Nadu is the fifth most populous of the 11 states.
• Uttar Pradesh tops the list, followed by Bihar, West Bengal and Maharashtra in second, third and fourth place respectively.
• Of the total members up to August 25, 2021, 78 per cent opted for the Rs 1,000 pension scheme and 14 per cent opted for the Rs 5,000 pension scheme. 44% of the total members are women. About 44 percent are 18-25 year olds.
