- This is the first time that such a large group of transgender people has climbed the world's highest battlefield. The voyage was dubbed "Operation Blue Freedom".
- The mission to Operation Blue Freedom began from Siachen base camp. The crew, which includes Operation Blue Freedom, embarked on Independence Day on August 15 last month and successfully completed the summit on September 12 (15,632 feet).

- The 11 states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand have reached the level of capital expenditure set by the Union Finance Ministry in the quarter 2021-22.
- The Union Finance Ministry has approved an additional Rs 15,721 crore in incentives for these states. Additional funding resources would be helpful to increase the capital expenditure of the states.
- It is noteworthy that the states have to achieve 15 per cent of the total target set for 2021-22 in the first quarter, 45 per cent in the second quarter, 70 per cent in the third quarter and 100 per cent by March 31, 2022 to get additional credit.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University in Aligarh. The Prime Minister will also visit the Uttar Pradesh Defense Career Route to be set up in Aligarh and the exhibition models of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University.
- The university is being set up by the state government in memory of and honoring Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh, a great freedom fighter, educator and social reformer.
- The university is being set up on a total area of 92 acres in Lodha village of Aligarh's Cole Tehsil and Karim Jarauli village of Musepur. The university will accredit 395 colleges operating in the Aligarh division.
- Defense career routes are planned to be set up at 6 locations in Aligarh, Agra, Kanpur, Chitrakoot, Jhansi and Lucknow. Land allotment process has been completed in Aligarh and land has been allotted to 19 companies. These companies have invested Rs. 1245 crore will be invested.
- The Mauritius National Coast Guard needed a low-speed Dornier aircraft to carry out rescue, search, surveillance, and corona infection emergencies. Mauritius has demanded this Dornier aircraft, which is successfully operating in the Indian Defense Forces.
- In view of this, the Indian Navy has provided an aircraft to the Police Department of Mauritius on a contractual basis. The passenger Tornier aircraft was handed over at a ceremony in Mauritius on Monday (Sep. 13).
- MK Stalin first ordered the setting up of a laboratory to detect the mutating corona virus in Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, such a laboratory was set up at a cost of Rs. 4 crore at the DMS premises, Chennai Denampet. It was first opened by MK Stalin on Tuesday.
- India’s largest open air fern farm is located in Uttarakhand and is located on 4 acres in Ranikhet area of Almora district and was developed by the Uttarakhand Forest Research Division.
- There are 120 varieties of perennials on the farm. The farm is located at an elevation of 1,800 m above sea level.
