World record-breaking team of brave transgender people climbs 15,632 feet in the Siachen Glacier
  • This is the first time that such a large group of transgender people has climbed the world's highest battlefield. The voyage was dubbed "Operation Blue Freedom".
  • The mission to Operation Blue Freedom began from Siachen base camp. The crew, which includes Operation Blue Freedom, embarked on Independence Day on August 15 last month and successfully completed the summit on September 12 (15,632 feet).
  • The Indian Army's Northern Command has claimed on its official Twitter page that the Kumar Post, at an altitude of 15,632 feet on the Siachen Glacier, was reached by eight transferees with a world record.

Additional debt of Rs 15,721 crore to 11 states, including Kerala - Central Government
  • The 11 states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand have reached the level of capital expenditure set by the Union Finance Ministry in the quarter 2021-22.
  • The Union Finance Ministry has approved an additional Rs 15,721 crore in incentives for these states. Additional funding resources would be helpful to increase the capital expenditure of the states. 
  • It is noteworthy that the states have to achieve 15 per cent of the total target set for 2021-22 in the first quarter, 45 per cent in the second quarter, 70 per cent in the third quarter and 100 per cent by March 31, 2022 to get additional credit.

  • The university is being set up on a total area of ​​92 acres in Lodha village of Aligarh's Cole Tehsil and Karim Jarauli village of Musepur. The university will accredit 395 colleges operating in the Aligarh division.
  • Defense career routes are planned to be set up at 6 locations in Aligarh, Agra, Kanpur, Chitrakoot, Jhansi and Lucknow. Land allotment process has been completed in Aligarh and land has been allotted to 19 companies. These companies have invested Rs. 1245 crore will be invested.
