Ila Ganesan appointed new Governor of Manipur
- Former state MP Ila Ganesan is a member of the BJP's National Committee. Ila Ganesan from Thanjavur has also been the Tamil Nadu BJP leader.
- Sikkim Governor Gangadhar Prasad has been appointed as the new Governor of Manipur. Ganesan has been appointed. The order was issued by President Ramnath Govind.
- India, the United States, Australia and Japan are the four countries that have formed the Quad Alliance. These are aligned against China's military domination.The annual joint naval exercise 'Malabar Training' by the four countries is scheduled to take place from the 26th to the 29th.
