Korkai Excavation - Discovery of a 7 storey brick building belonging to the Sangam period

- A 7-story brick building used during the Sangam period was discovered in a pit 2000 years ago. Archaeological excavations are heating up as structures for iron, glass beads, and settlements have been found in the same pit.
UN Indian Finance Ministry official on the tax board

Cabinet approval of Central University in Ladakh

Union Cabinet approves Rs 6,322 crore special steel production promotion scheme

- To increase capacity at the domestic level to reduce imports Rs. 6322 crore has been approved by the Union Cabinet. This will create 5.25 lakh new jobs in the country.
- The Multipurpose Seaweed Park project under the Prime Minister's Fisheries Development Program (Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY)) will be implemented in the states including Tamil Nadu in the current financial year, the Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister told the Lok Sabha.
