One country single ration scheme Rs. Central government approves Rs 8,000 crore loan

  • Of the 23 crore 63 lakh ration card holders across the country, 21 crore 92 lakh, or 92.8%, have linked their Aadhaar number with their ration card.

World's fastest train introduced in China

Chief Minister Stalin launches Tamil Nadu Career Guide Website 2.0
  • Today (20.7.2021), a special event titled "Investors' First Address - Tamil Nadu" was held on behalf of the industry under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Stalin.
  • Highlights of the program include the signing of MoUs for 35 business investments to create employment for 55,054 people at an investment of Rs 17,141 crore, laying the foundation for 9 business projects with an investment of Rs 4,250 crore for 21,630 people and creating jobs for 6,798 people at an investment of Rs 7,117 crore. Launches were also held.
  • With an investment of Rs 28,508 crore through 49 projects, 83,482 jobs have been created. During the event, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu launched the enhanced Single Window Website 2.0 of the Tamil Nadu Career Guide.
  • In order to help not only the existing investors but also the new investors, the website has been made available to provide hundreds of services required for business understanding.
  • The Tamil Nadu Career Guidance Agreement has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association to encourage businesses to invest and operate in Tamil Nadu. Through this Digital Accelerator project, grants are provided to new companies to promote innovation, research and development in Tamil Nadu.
  • The Government of Tamil Nadu has allocated Rs. 5 crore for this. Approximately 75 businesses applied for the grant. In the first phase, 5 companies were selected and the approval orders were issued by Chief Minister Stalin to five companies
