- Chris Gayle, considered the best player in the world in T20 cricket, is known by fans as the 'Universal Boss'. Gidex is investing Rs 1,000 crore in Telangana

1,500 new oxygen plants across the country
- The PM Cares Fund will set up 1,500 Oxygen Plants (PSA Pressure Swing Adsorption) (Oxygen Plants under PM CARES) across the country by public companies. Through this, oxygen will be distributed to 4 lakh medical beds in the country. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi.
- It is planned to train 8,000 people across the country with one training model. They also use advanced Internet technology called "IoT" (Internet of Things) to monitor the operation of oxygen plants locally and nationally.
Spelling Bee Contest African American Girl Record
- The annual Scripps National Spelling Bee competition 2021 was held in Florida for the 93rd year. Zaila Avant-garde, a 14-year-old American of African descent, won the competition.
- This is the first time in 93 years that an African American has won a Spelling Bee competition. Also, this is the first time someone from Louisiana has won the tournament.
- So far only one black person has won the Spelling Bee competition. Jody-Ame Maxwell won the Spelling Bee competition for Jamaica in 1998.
679 MW Hydropower Project in Nepal - India-Nepal Agreement
- Sutlej Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN), a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Energy of India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nepal Investment Board in Kathmandu, Nepal for the implementation of the 679 MW Lower Arun Hydroelectric Project in Nepal.
- SJVN has won the project with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Government of India, beating other neighboring companies in international auctions.
- The MoU was signed by SJVN Chairman and Managing Director Nand Lal Sharma and Nepal Investment Board CEO Sushil Patta in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal Bishnu Prasad Patil and Indian Ambassador Vinay Mohan Quatra.
- The Lower Arun Hydroelectric Project is located in the Sanguwasaba and Bhojpur districts of Nepal. No water reservoirs or dams will be constructed in this project. The project will have 4 Francis type rotors.
- After the completion of the project, 2970 million units of electricity will be generated annually. The target is to complete the project within 4 years of the commencement of construction work.
- The project has been assigned to SJVN for 25 years on the basis of changing the construction rights movement. The company plans to increase its current generation capacity from 2016.51 MW to 5000 MW by 2023, 12,000 MW by 2030 and 25,000 MW by 2040.
- The company is involved in the production of various energy sources including hydropower, wind power, solar power and thermal power.
