Serum company licensed by the United States to manufacture the Sputnik V vaccine in Russia

  • The United States has approved Russia's use of the Sputnik V vaccine in India. In this case, the serum company had applied to produce the Sputnik V vaccine in collaboration with the Jaundice Research Institute in Epidemiology and Microbiology, Russia. The Federal Drug Control Agency, which considered the application, approved the serum.
  • The Sputnik V vaccine is being developed at the Atasfer Center in Pune. Permission is granted for 3 years only. The license will be revoked thereafter, according to the Drug Administration of India.
  • Russia's Sputnik V vaccine is currently only manufactured in India by Dr. Reddy's.
The world's largest green railway target for 2030

Approval for Rs 50,000 crore project to build six state-of-the-art submarines
