Serum company licensed by the United States to manufacture the Sputnik V vaccine in Russia
- The United States has approved Russia's use of the Sputnik V vaccine in India. In this case, the serum company had applied to produce the Sputnik V vaccine in collaboration with the Jaundice Research Institute in Epidemiology and Microbiology, Russia. The Federal Drug Control Agency, which considered the application, approved the serum.
- The Sputnik V vaccine is being developed at the Atasfer Center in Pune. Permission is granted for 3 years only. The license will be revoked thereafter, according to the Drug Administration of India.
- Russia's Sputnik V vaccine is currently only manufactured in India by Dr. Reddy's.
