Vatican amendment to prevent sexual offenses
- Pope Francis has amended church laws to abuse their authority and to criminalize priests for sexually abusing adult nabs as well.
- The new law seeks to penalize those who hold church office without being formally appointed for such sexual offenses.
- These amendments have been made to the law followed by about 130 crore Catholic churches worldwide.
