• இந்திய உளவியல்சார் பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் / DEFENCE INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH: இந்திய உளவியல்சார் பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் (டிபென்ஸ் இன்ஸ்டிட்யுட் ஆப் சைகோலோஜிகல் ரிசேர்ச்; Defence Institute of Psychological Research) என்பது இந்திய நடுவண் அரசின் கீழ் அமைந்த பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் வளர்ச்சி அமைப்பு என்ற அமைப்பின் ஒரு அங்கமாகும். இந்நிறுவனம் தில்லியில் அமைந்துள்ளது. 
• இந்தியாவின் பாதுகாப்பைக் கருதி உருவாக்கிய இந்த அமைப்பு இந்திய இராணுவத்திற்கான உளவியல் துறை சார்ந்த ஆராய்சிகளில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறது. 
• இந்திய உளவியல்சார் பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் நடுவண் அரசின் பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் வளர்ச்சி அமைப்பின் கீழ் செயல்படும் உயிர் அறிவியல் இயக்குனரகத்தின் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் செயல்படுகிறது. 
• தற்பொழுது இதன் இயக்குனராக டாக்டர் கே. இராமச்சந்திரன் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறார்.

• இந்திய உளவியல்சார் பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் / DEFENCE INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH: இந்திய இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரிய அதிகாரிகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுப்பதற்காக தேரா துண்ணில் (Dehra dun) ஒரு சோதனை நிறுவனம் 1943 ஆம் ஆண்டில் நிறுவப்பெற்றது. 
• இந்தியா சுதந்திரம் பெற்ற பின்னால், இந்திய இராணுவத்தில் மாறுதல்கள் நிகழ்ந்தன. அப்பொழுது இந்திய இராணுவத்தில் சேர்ந்து பணிகள் புரிவதற்காக அதிகாரிகளைத் தெரிவு செய்து உளவியல் ஆராய்ச்சிகளைப் புரிவதற்கான நிலை ஏற்பட்டது. 
• இதன் அடிப்படையில், இந்த தற்காலிக சோதனைக் குழு, உளவியல் ஆராய்ச்சி அலகாக பெயர் மாற்றம் கண்டது. 
• அதிகாரிகளைத் தெரிவு செய்வதற்கு அறிவியல் சார்ந்த செயல்முறைகள் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டன.போர் முறைகளில் பல் மாற்றங்கள் ஏற்பட்டதாலும், புதிய உத்திகளை கையாள வேண்டியதாலும், இந்த நிறுவனத்தின் பொறுப்புகள் மேலும் அதிகரித்தன.
• 1962 ஆம் ஆண்டில், இந்த உளவியல் ஆராய்ச்சி அலகு மீண்டும் பெயர் மாற்றம் கண்டு, உளவியல்சார் ஆராய்ச்சி இயக்குனரகம் என்ற வகையில் அறியப்பட்டது. 
• மன உறுதி, குழுக்களின் வினைவுறு திறன், தலைமை நடத்தை, இராணுவ அதிகாரிகள்-மாலுமிகளுக்கு இடையிலேயான இதர பிரச்சினைகள் ஆகியவற்றைப் பற்றி மேலும் அறிந்து கொள்ள ஆய்வுகள் இங்கு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. 
• 1982 ஆம் ஆண்டில், இந்திய உளவியல்சார் பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் என்ற பெயரில் மீண்டும் மாற்றம் கண்டு, இந்திய அரசின் பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் வளர்ச்சி அமைப்பின் கீழ் செயல்படத் துவங்கியது.

• DEFENCE INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH: The Defense Institute of Psychological Research (Defence Institute of Psychological Research) is a part of the Defense Research and Development Organization under the Central Government of India.
• The company is located in Delhi. This organization created with India's security in mind is engaged in psychological research for the Indian Army. 
• The Indian Psychological Defense Research Institute operates under the Directorate of Life Sciences under the Defense Research and Development Organization of the central government. Currently its director is Dr. K. Ramachandran is working.

History

• DEFENCE INSTITUTE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH: An examination institute was established at Dehra Dun in 1943 to select officers for the Indian Army. After India's independence, changes took place in the Indian Army. Then there was a situation to select officers to join the Indian Army and study psychology.
• Accordingly, this ad hoc experimental group was renamed the Psychological Research Unit. Scientific procedures were implemented to select officers. As the methods of warfare underwent drastic changes and new strategies had to be dealt with, the responsibilities of this organization increased.
• In 1962, the Psychological Research Unit was renamed again and became known as the Directorate of Psychological Research. Studies were conducted here to learn more about morale, team dynamics, leadership behavior, and other issues among officer-sailors.
• In 1982, it was again renamed the Indian Psychological Defense Research Institute and started functioning under the Defense Research and Development Organization of the Government of India.
