Tamil Nadu Government Signs MoUs with Sigma Technology Group and Wilson Power Solutions
- In the presence of Chief Minister Vijay, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged between Mr. Mikael Karlsson (Founder and CEO, Sigma Technology Group), Mr. Krishna Radhakrishnan (CEO, Shriya – a division of Sigma AB Pvt Ltd), and Mr. Deepak Jacob, IAS (Managing Director, Guidance Tamil Nadu).
- Additionally, an MoU was signed today (14.09.2026) in London, UK, with 'Wilson Power Solutions' to advance the electrical equipment manufacturing sector in Tamil Nadu; this agreement entails an investment of ₹300 crore and the creation of 400 new jobs in the Thiruvallur district.
- The World Circular Economy Forum 2026 was inaugurated today in Gandhinagar by the Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Mr. Bhupender Yadav, jointly with the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Bhupendrabhai Patel.
- The forum is being held from September 15 to 18 under the theme "Circular Economy: Transition for People and Prosperity."
