Justice T. Krishnakumar Appointed Chairperson of the Tamil Nadu Law Commission
- The term of the Tamil Nadu Law Commission concluded on June 18. Following this, the Commission has been reconstituted, and its Chairperson as well as full-time and part-time members have been appointed.
- Justice T. Krishnakumar, former Chief Justice of the Manipur High Court, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the State Law Commission.
- Appointed as full-time members are Justice R.M.T. Teeka Raman (former Judge of the Madras High Court), T.K. Ramachandran, IAS (former Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu), and A. Arunagiri (former Secretary, Law Department).
- P. Mohandas (former District Judge), R. Govindarajan (former District Judge), and an officer holding the rank of Law Department Secretary (serving as the full-time Member-Secretary) have been appointed as part-time members of the Commission.
