Venkat K. Narayana Appointed as Tamil Nadu Government's Special Representative in Delhi
- Venkat K. Narayana, the founder of KVN Productions and a close friend of Chief Minister Vijay, has been appointed as the Special Representative of Tamil Nadu in Delhi. A government order regarding this appointment has been issued.
- He has been appointed on a temporary basis for a period of one year. Governor Rajendra Arlekar issued this order based on the recommendation of the government led by Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay.
- Herbalife and IIT Madras have jointly launched India's first Centre of Excellence for Plant Cell Fermentation Technology. This initiative aims to promote plant-based health and wellness products.
- In collaboration with Herbalife International India Private Limited, IIT Madras has established the 'Herbalife-IIT Madras Centre of Excellence on Plant Cell Fermentation Technology' to advance this specific technology.
- This facility will enable the production of health-beneficial compounds derived from plants. It is the first dedicated laboratory in India focused on applied research and innovation in the field of plant cell fermentation.
- This landmark project was launched on June 22. The centre aims to become a national hub for sustainable innovation, research and development, and applied research in plant cell fermentation technology.
