Union Minister Shri Amit Shah Launches NAFED's Auction Portal
- Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, launched NAFEX.in the auction portal of the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) in New Delhi today.
- Dignitaries present at the event included Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister of State for Cooperation Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, Secretary of the Department of Cooperation Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani, and NAFED Chairman Shri Jeetabhai Ahir.
- Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah is chairing the 10th high-level meeting of the Narcotics Coordination Centre (NCORD) at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Friday, June 26. Organized by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), this meeting plays a pivotal role in strengthening the Prime Minister's vision of a 'Drug-Free India.'
- Key representatives from 44 Central Government ministries and departments, along with 108 representatives from state governments, are participating in the meeting. Additionally, he is inaugurating newly constructed NCB zonal offices in Jammu and Guwahati.
- He is also launching a special nationwide campaign to destroy 209,500 kilograms of narcotics valued at approximately ₹6,000 crore. The meeting reaffirms the Central Government's 'zero-tolerance policy' against drug trafficking.
