Dedicated Toll-Free Helpline '1091' Launched by 'Singapenn' Task Force
- A dedicated toll-free helpline number, 1091, has been launched by the 'Singapenn' (Lioness) Task Force to further strengthen the safety of women and children. The police have stated that this helpline will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Through this number, women and children can directly lodge complaints regarding various crimes and threats directed at them. Specifically, they can contact this number to seek immediate police assistance for issues such as abuse, sexual harassment, stalking, intimidation, and cyber-harassment.
- Furthermore, to ensure the safety of women and children during emergencies, trained police personnel will monitor and manage this service around the clock. It has been announced that upon receipt of a complaint, information will be immediately relayed to the relevant police stations and officials to ensure swift action.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer Resigns
