- Addressing the gathering, he described this event as a momentous day for thousands of young people across the country. Welcoming those who have newly joined government service, he emphasized the immediate contribution they would make toward India's growth in sectors including Railways, Banking, Defence, Health, and Education.
- "In the coming years, all of you will play a pivotal role in realizing the vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India)," Shri Modi stated.
- Showcasing the strength of the Indian Army to the world, the Agni-1 missile capable of striking short-range targets with precision was successfully test-fired at a dedicated testing facility in Chandipur, Odisha.
- This missile test is viewed as a significant advancement that propels India's defense capabilities to the next level. This state-of-the-art missile has been entirely indigenously developed by our country's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
- The missile possesses the capability to strike enemy targets located at a distance of approximately 700 to 1,200 kilometers with exceptional accuracy. Furthermore, it is capable of effortlessly carrying heavy conventional warheads or nuclear payloads weighing up to 2,500 kilograms.
