MRF signs agreement to invest Rs. 5,300 crore in the presence of the Chief Minister
- With a committed investment of Rs. 5,300 crores, MRF signed an MoU in the presence of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to set up a new tire manufacturing plant at the Sipcot-Iluppakudi Industrial Park in Sivaganga district, providing guaranteed employment to 1000 people. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin released the Tamil Nadu Shipbuilding Policy 2026.
- The Chief Minister inaugurated the Tamil Nadu Integrated Drinking Water Redressal Centre - Funel (1916) today (4.03.2026) to strengthen people-centric water management in Tamil Nadu.
- This Integrated Drinking Water Grievance Redressal Centre, established by the Tamil Nadu Drinking Water Supply and Drainage Board, provides a common platform for the public to register all complaints related to drinking water.
- The platform, which operates 24 hours a day, ensures that every complaint related to availability of drinking water, water quality and disruptions in supply are promptly heard and resolved in a transparent and accountable manner, 24 hours a day.
