PM Modi Inaugurates Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the first phase of the Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. Union Minister for Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also attended the event.
- The first phase of this airport has been developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with a total investment of approximately ₹11,200 crore.
- According to the Prime Minister's Office, this airport—envisioned as a key international gateway for the National Capital Region—marks a significant step towards strengthening the country's airport infrastructure and enhancing regional and international connectivity.
- Serving as a complement to Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, the Noida International Airport has been developed as the second international airport for the Delhi-NCR region.
