Periyasamy Kumaran Appointed as India's New Ambassador to the UK
- Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Periyasamy Kumaran has been appointed as India's next Ambassador to the United Kingdom. The Ministry of External Affairs issued this announcement today.
- Kumaran, a member of the 1992 batch of the Indian Foreign Service, has been appointed to this post replacing Vikram Doraiswami, who recently assumed charge as India's Ambassador to China.
