- He flagged off 5 train services namely Nagercoil - Sarapalli Amrit Bharat Special train (06357), Coimbatore Pothanur - Dhanbad Amrit Bharat Special train (06619), Rameswaram - Mangalore Special Express train (06621), Tirunelveli - Mangalore Special Express train (06708), Mayiladuthurai - Karaikudi Special Passenger train (06835).
- Modi also inaugurated new projects including a gas distribution network worth Rs. 3,680 crore in Nilriki and Erode.
