MoU between Elcat and HCL Tech
- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a joint drinking water project for 867 rural settlements benefiting 10.93 lakh people at a government function held in Madurai district today at a cost of Rs. 1,536 crore 31 lakh, and inaugurated the Vandiyur Park renovated and beautified at a cost of Rs. 50 crore, the Madurai Corporation, Anguraan Modern Science Centre built at a cost of Rs. 3.50 crore in Karimedu, and the Vadipatti Town Panchayat office building built at a cost of Rs. 1.67 crore.
- He also inaugurated the HP Computer Skills Development Centre set up at a cost of Rs. 50 lakh at Meenakshi Government Arts College for Women and the expanded new Global Special Engineering Centre building of Pinnacle Infotech at Vadapalanchi ELCOT Information Technology Park and laid the foundation stone for the staff quarters. Furthermore, an MoU was signed between ELCOT and HCLTech to create 1,000 new jobs with an investment of Rs. 150 crore.
