• இந்தியாவில் பிறப்பு விகிதம் குறித்து ஐ.நா. அறிக்கை 2025 / UN REPORT ON BIRTH RATE IN INDIA 2025: உலக மக்கள் தொகையை கணக்கிட்டால் தற்போதைய நிலவரப்படி, 823 கோடியாக இருக்கிறது. இதில் இந்தியாவில் 146.3 கோடியாக உள்ளது.
• அதாவது உலக மக்கள் தொகையில் 17.7 சதவீதத்தை இந்தியா கொண்டிருக்கிறது. இந்நிலையில் 2025ம் ஆண்டில் மட்டும் பிறப்பு எண்ணிக்கை குறித்த விவரம் வெளியாகி உள்ளது. ஐ.நா. 23.1 மில்லியன் அதாவது 2 கோடியே 31 லட்சம் இருக்கலாம் என கணித்திருந்தது.
• 2025ம் ஆண்டில் இந்தியாவில் பிறப்பு எண்ணிக்கை 2 கோடியே 30 லட்சத்து 7 ஆயிரம் என்று கூறியுள்ளது. இது உலகிலேயே ஒரு நாட்டில் ஆண்டில் அதிகபட்ச பிறப்பு எண்ணிக்கையாக கணிக்கப்பட்டு இருக்கிறது. 
• இதே நிலையில் 2024ம் ஆண்டு இந்தியாவில் 2 கோடியே 34 லட்சத்து 13 ஆயிரத்து 498 குழந்தைகள் பிறந்துள்ளன. சீனாவை விட 3 மடங்கு அதிகம். 
• தமிழ்நாட்டை பொறுத்தவரையில் பிறப்பு எண்ணிக்கை சுமார் 7 லட்சத்து 80 ஆயிரமாக இருக்கலாம் என கூறப்படுகிறது. இந்தியாவில் பிறப்பு எண்ணிக்கை அதிகமாக இருப்பது போல் தெரிந்தாலும், கடந்த ஆண்டுகளைவிட குறைந்து வருவதாகவே சொல்லப்படுகிறது.
• 2025-ம் ஆண்டு பிறப்பு எண்ணிக்கையை பொறுத்தவரையில் இந்தியாவுக்கு அடுத்தபடியாக, சீனாவில் 87 லட்சமாகவும், நைஜீரியாவில் 76 லட்சமாகவும், பாகிஸ்தானில் 69 லட்சமாகவும், காங்கோவில் 46 லட்சமாகவும், இந்தோனேசியாவில் 44 லட்சமாகவும், எத்தியோப்பியாவில் 42 லட்சமாகவும், அமெரிக்காவில் 37 லட்சமாகவும், வங்காளதேசத்தில் 34 லட்சமாகவும், பிரேசிலில் 25 லட்சமாகவும் இருந்துள்ளன. நடப்பாண்டில் (2026) இந்தியாவில் பிறப்பு எண்ணிக்கை 2 கோடியே 29 லட்சமாக இருக்கலாம் என ஐ.நா. கணித்திருக்கிறது.

• That is, India accounts for 17.7 percent of the world's population. In this context, details regarding the number of births in 2025 have been released. The UN had estimated that it could be 23.1 million, or 23.1 million.
• It has stated that the number of births in India in 2025 will be 23,007,000. This is projected to be the highest number of births in a single country in a year. Similarly, in 2024, 23,413,498 children were born in India. 
• This is three times more than in China. In Tamil Nadu, the number of births is estimated to be around 780,000. Although the number of births in India seems high, it is said to be decreasing compared to previous years.
• Regarding the number of births in 2025, after India, the numbers are 8.7 million in China, 7.6 million in Nigeria, 6.9 million in Pakistan, 4.6 million in Congo, 4.4 million in Indonesia, 4.2 million in Ethiopia, 3.7 million in the United States, 3.4 million in Bangladesh, and 2.5 million in Brazil.
