• 2025ம் ஆண்டு பெட்ரோலியம் மற்றும் இயற்கை எரிவாயு அமைச்சகத்தின் செயல்பாடுகள் மற்றும் சாதனைகள் / KEY ACHIEVEMENTS OF MINISTRY OF PETROL AND NATURAL GAS IN 2025: பெட்ரோலியம் மற்றும் இயற்கை எரிவாயு அமைச்சகம், எண்ணெய் மற்றும் இயற்கை எரிவாயுவின் ஆய்வு மற்றும் உற்பத்தி, பெட்ரோலியப் பொருட்களின் சுத்திகரிப்பு, விநியோகம் மற்றும் சந்தைப்படுத்தல், அவற்றின் இறக்குமதி, ஏற்றுமதி மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பு ஆகியவற்றிற்குப் பொறுப்பாகும்.

• 2025-ம் ஆண்டில், மலிவு விலையில் எரிசக்தி கிடைப்பதை உறுதி செய்தல், உள்நாட்டு உற்பத்தியை மேம்படுத்துதல், உள்கட்டமைப்பை வலுப்படுத்துதல், தூய்மையான எரிபொருட்களை ஊக்குவித்தல் மற்றும் தேசிய எரிசக்தி பாதுகாப்பை வலுப்படுத்துதல் ஆகியவற்றை உறுதி செய்வதற்காக இந்த அமைச்சகம் ஒரு விரிவான மற்றும் பன்முக அணுகுமுறையைப் பின்பற்றியது.
• இந்த முயற்சிகள் எரிசக்தி அணுகல், எரிசக்தி செயல்திறன், எரிசக்தி நிலைத்தன்மை மற்றும் எரிசக்தி பாதுகாப்பு ஆகிய தேசிய முன்னுரிமைகளுடன் ஒத்துப்போகின்றன.
• தூய்மையான சமையல் எரிபொருள் அனைவருக்கும் கிடைப்பதை உறுதி செய்வது ஒரு முதன்மை முன்னுரிமையாக இருந்தது. உஜ்வாலா திட்டத்தின் கீழ், 2025 டிசம்பர் 1 -ம் தேதி நிலவரப்படி, பயனாளிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை சுமார் 10.35 கோடியாக இருந்தது. 
• நிலுவையில் உள்ள விண்ணப்பங்களைச் சரிசெய்து, எல்பிஜி இணைப்பு அனைவருக்கும் கிடைப்பதை உறுதி செய்வதற்காக, 2025-26 நிதியாண்டில் 25 லட்சம் கூடுதல் எல்பிஜி இணைப்புகளை வழங்க அரசு ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது. 
• முந்தைய பல-புள்ளி சுய-அறிவிப்பு முறைக்கு பதிலாக, ஒற்றை வறுமை நிலை அறிவிப்பு அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டதன் மூலம் தகுதி செயல்முறை எளிதாக்கப்பட்டது, இதன் மூலம் இணைப்பு பெறுவது வேகமாகவும் அனைவரையும் உள்ளடக்கியதாகவும் மாறியது.
• இத்திட்டத்தின் பயனாளிகளுக்கு ஆண்டுக்கு ஒன்பது சிலிண்டர் மறு நிரப்பல்கள் வரை, 14.2 கிலோ சிலிண்டருக்கு ரூ 300 என்ற இலக்கு மானியத்தின் மூலம் எல்பிஜியின் மலிவுத்தன்மைக்கு ஆதரவளிக்கப்பட்டது. 
• இந்த நடவடிக்கை எல்பிஜி நுகர்வில் சீரான உயர்வுக்கு வழிவகுத்தது. ஒரு நபருக்கான சராசரி நுகர்வு 2019-20 ஆம் ஆண்டில் சுமார் மூன்று மறு நிரப்பல்களில் இருந்து 2024-25 நிதியாண்டில் 4.47 மறு நிரப்பல்களாகவும், மேலும் 2025-26 நிதியாண்டில் ஆண்டுக்கு சுமார் 4.85 மறு நிரப்பல்கள் என்ற விகிதாச்சார அளவிற்கும் அதிகரித்துள்ளது, இது தூய்மையான சமையல் எரிபொருளைத் தொடர்ந்து பயன்படுத்துவதைக் காட்டுகிறது.
• மானிய இலக்கு நிர்ணயம் மற்றும் வெளிப்படைத்தன்மையை மேம்படுத்த, பயோமெட்ரிக் ஆதார் அங்கீகாரம் விரைவுபடுத்தப்பட்டது. 2025 டிசம்பர் 1-ம் தேதி நிலவரப்படி, பயோமெட்ரிக் அங்கீகாரம் திட்டத்தின் நுகர்வோரில் 71 சதவீதத்தினரையும், பிற நுகர்வோரில் 62 சதவீதத்தினரையும் உள்ளடக்கியது. 
• நுகர்வோர் எளிமையான மொபைல் அடிப்படையிலான செயல்முறைகள் மூலம், எந்தச் செலவும் இல்லாமல் அங்கீகாரத்தை முடிக்க உதவும் வகையில், நவம்பர் 2025-ல் நாடு தழுவிய சிறப்பு இயக்கம் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
• நாடு தழுவிய அடிப்படைப் பாதுகாப்புச் சரிபார்ப்பு பிரச்சாரத்தின் மூலம் நுகர்வோர் பாதுகாப்பு வலுப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. வாடிக்கையாளர்களின் வீடுகளில் 12.12 கோடிக்கும் மேற்பட்ட இலவசப் பாதுகாப்பு ஆய்வுகள் நடத்தப்பட்டன,

• KEY ACHIEVEMENTS OF MINISTRY OF PETROL AND NATURAL GAS IN 2025: The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is responsible for the exploration and production of oil and natural gas, the refining, distribution, and marketing of petroleum products, and their import, export, and conservation. 
• Oil and gas continue to be crucial inputs for India's rapidly growing economy. In 2025, the Ministry adopted a comprehensive and multi-pronged approach to ensure the availability of affordable energy, enhance domestic production, strengthen infrastructure, promote cleaner fuels, and bolster national energy security. These efforts align with the national priorities of energy access, energy efficiency, energy sustainability, and energy security.
• Ensuring access to clean cooking fuel for all was a primary priority. Under the Ujjwala scheme, as of December 1, 2025, the number of beneficiaries stood at approximately 10.35 crore. 
• To clear pending applications and ensure LPG connections for all, the government approved the provision of 25 lakh additional LPG connections in the financial year 2025-26. 
• The eligibility process was simplified with the introduction of a single poverty status declaration, replacing the previous multi-point self-declaration system, making the connection process faster and more inclusive.
• Affordability of LPG was supported through a targeted subsidy of ₹300 per 14.2 kg cylinder for up to nine cylinder refills per year for beneficiaries of the scheme. This measure led to a consistent increase in LPG consumption. 
• The average consumption per person has increased from approximately three refills in 2019-20 to 4.47 refills in the financial year 2024-25, and further to a projected rate of approximately 4.85 refills per year in the financial year 2025-26, indicating sustained use of clean cooking fuel.
• To improve subsidy targeting and transparency, biometric Aadhaar authentication was expedited. As of December 1, 2025, biometric authentication covered 71 percent of the scheme's consumers and 62 percent of other consumers. 
• A nationwide special drive was launched in November 2025 to enable consumers to complete the authentication through simple mobile-based processes at no cost.
• Consumer safety was strengthened through a nationwide basic safety check campaign. Over 12.12 crore free safety inspections were conducted at customers' homes.
