LVM3 M5 rocket successfully launched
  • The Indian Space Research Organization is achieving various achievements in the field of international space research after NASA. In continuation of this, ISRO launched the CMS-03 satellite into space using the LVM3 m5 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Launch Center in Sriharikota at 5:26 pm today.
  • This satellite is being launched to ensure military security information exchange and to improve deep-sea and coastal security and information communication. ISRO's GSLV LVM3 rocket, also known as Baahubali, is placing the satellite in the GTO orbit, which is about 35 thousand 656 kilometers away. So far, India has launched 48 satellites to improve information technology.
  • As the life span of the GSAT 17 satellite launched in 2013 is about to end, the CMS 03 satellite, equipped with cutting-edge technologies including multi-band, is to be launched at a cost of about Rs 1600 crore.
  • It is noteworthy that this is the first time that such a large (about 4 tons) satellite has been launched from Indian soil, and therefore the highly reliable LVM3 rocket is to be used for this. This is the fifth mission of the LVM3 rocket.
  • It is noteworthy that the same rocket was used for the Chandrayaan 3 project, which finally made India look at the world. By placing this satellite in space, India will become self-sufficient in transmitting military information. Due to this, India has attracted the attention of the world.
