CM M.K. Stalin inaugurated ‘Classical Language Park’ at a cost of Rs. 208.50 crore in Coimbatore
- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin today (25.11.2025) inaugurated the Classical Language Park, spread over an area of 165 acres in the Gandhipuram Central Prison complex in Coimbatore, with various world-class modern facilities spread over an area of 45 acres at a cost of Rs. 208.50 crore, for public use.
- Chief Minister Stalin inaugurated a conference organized by the Tamil Nadu Industry Development and Innovation Centre (TNRISING) on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Industries Department at a private hotel in Neelampur today.
- At the TN Rising Investors' Conference held in Coimbatore today (Nov. 25) in the presence of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, 111 MoUs were signed in Coimbatore, providing employment to 96,207 people with an investment of Rs. 42,792 crore, and 47 MoUs were signed in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, providing employment to 4,502 people with an investment of Rs. 1,052 crore, for a total of 158 MoUs were signed in Coimbatore, providing employment to 1,00,709 people with an investment of Rs. 43,844 crore.
- Further, Chief Minister Stalin laid the foundation stone for setting up centres of excellence at Awarampalayam at a cost of Rs. 14.43 crore for the development of high-quality pumps and motors manufacturing industry and at Mooperipalayam at a cost of Rs. 26.50 crore for the development of castings and metal design. The Chief Minister also issued appointment orders to the selected candidates for various posts in 9 companies.
- The National Commission for Women (NCW) has introduced a new, easy-to-remember helpline to help women facing violence and harassment get immediate help.
- Women can contact the new toll-free helpline ‘14490’ 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to get immediate help. This new helpline has been introduced while the earlier ‘7827170170’ was in effect.
- The Women's World Cup Kabaddi series was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In this series, in which 11 teams participated, the Indian team faced Chinese Taipei in the final. In this exciting match, the Indian women's team won by a score of 35-28 and won the championship title for the second time in a row.
