Tamil Nadu Cyber Crime Unit secures 2nd place in cyber security competition at cOcOn 2025 conference
- In a proud achievement of the Tamil Nadu Police Department, the Tamil Nadu Cyber Crime Unit police have secured the second place in the prestigious Law Enforcement Track category of the cocon 2025 conference held at the Grand Hyatt in Kochi, Kerala on October 10 and 11.
- Specially designed for law enforcement officers, the Law Enforcement Track is a special program to explore dimensions such as cyber crimes, digital investigations and national security challenges in the digital age.
- In this, cybersecurity experts, senior police officers, investigating officers, lawyers and international law enforcement agencies participated and shared their views on cyber crimes and measures to prevent it.
- The Law Enforcement Agency Capture the Flag (LEA CTF) Challenge Event, which was the main event of the conference, was attended by registered police agencies from various states.
- In this, a team comprising Sub-Inspector (Technology) Rajasekhar of Villupuram Cyber Crime Police Station, Sub-Inspector (Technology) Poornima of Namakkal Cyber Crime Police Station, and Sub-Inspector (Technology) Yuvarani of Vellore Cyber Crime Police Station, under the guidance of Additional Director of Cyber Crime Branch, Sandeep Mittal, won the second place.
