Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a mega food park in Tamil Nadu at a cost of Rs. 120 crores
- Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated 16 new child care centres set up in industrial parks by the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation on behalf of the Department of Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce, the Tindivanam Mega Food Park set up in Villupuram district at a cost of Rs. 120 crore and the Theni Mega Food Park set up in Theni district at a cost of Rs. 70 crore, spread over an area of 123.49 acres, through video conferencing at the Secretariat.
- It is noteworthy that the Manapparai Mega Food Park, set up in an area of 138 acres, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister on 29.12.2022. Following this, the Chief Minister today inaugurated the Tindivanam Mega Food Park, which has been developed at a cost of Rs. 120 crores on an area of 157.91 acres covering the villages of Kollar and Pelakuppam in Tindivanam, Villupuram district.
- In this park, 36.05 acres of land have been allocated for 3 industries, attracting investments of Rs. 123.84 crores. In Theni district, the Chief Minister today inaugurated the Theni Mega Food Park, which has been developed at a cost of Rs. 70 crores on an area of 123.49 acres covering the villages of Upparpatti, Thappukundu and Poomalaikundu, in Theni district.
- In this park, 45.97 acres of land have been allocated for 11 industries, attracting investments of Rs. 160.53 crores, it was reported.
