  • Dr. J. Radhakrishnan, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Chairman and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board.
  • Gagandeep Singh Bedi, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Rural Development and Panchayats Department.
  • Dheeraj Kumar, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department
  • P. Amudha, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government. Revenue and Disaster Management Department
  • The above officers have been allotted departments as per the orders of the Chief Minister regarding which departments they should publish news.
  • The Secretaries of the departments allotted to the government spokespersons will provide information on department-related announcements and achievements to the government spokespersons. After verifying the veracity of the news, the government spokespersons will meet the media and publish the information accurately and correctly based on the advice of the Chief Secretary.

8 new small ports in Tamil Nadu - Tamil Nadu Government Announcement
  • The Tamil Nadu government has planned to set up 8 new small ports in Tamil Nadu. The plan is to set up ports at Chengalpattu (Mugaiyur, Panayur), Villupuram (Marakanam), and Cuddalore (Silamphimangalam). Mayiladuthurai (Vanagiri), Nagai (Vizhuntha Mawadi), Thoothukudi (Manapadu), Kumari coastal area have been identified. Private investors have been invited to develop ports. 
  • Various permits will be given to interested investors based on the industrial policy. The Tamil Nadu government has announced that the land will be leased for a long period of time ranging from 30 years to 99 years.
Manindra Mohan Srivastava appointed as Chief Justice of Madras High Court
  • K.R. Sriram, who was serving as the Chief Justice of the Chennai High Court, has been transferred to the Rajasthan High Court. Manindra Mohan Srivastava, who has served as the Chief Justice of Rajasthan, has been appointed as the new Chief Justice of the Madras High Court.
  • The Chief Justices of the High Courts of Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Guwahati, Patna, Jharkhand, Tripura and Telangana have also been transferred. In addition, Madras High Court Judge Pattu Devanand has been transferred to the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Club World Cup 2025 - Chelsea Champion
  • The FIFA Club World Cup was held in the United States. The final match was between PSG and Chelsea. Chelsea won the match 3-0 in a landslide.
  • Kohli Palmer scored in the 22nd and 30th minutes, while Joao Pedro scored in the 43rd minute to take a 3-0 lead in the first half. Despite his best efforts in the second half, PSG could not score.
