Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses the 11th International Yoga Day celebrations held in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the national celebration in Visakhapatnam on the eve of the 11th International Yoga Day. He participated in the Public Yoga Protocol Session held at Visakhapatnam beach with nearly 5 lakh people.
- At the same time he led the nation through a harmonious yoga event. Yoga events were held simultaneously in over 3.5 lakhs in India. The theme of this year is "the only earth - yoga for the same health". It shows that human and earth health is interconnected.
- It echoes the global view of the joint well -being of the Indian philosophy that everyone should be free from disease.
- Since the UN General Assembly's acceptance of Yoga Day in 2015, the Prime Minister has led celebrations from various places including New Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Mysore, New York (UN Headquarters) and Srinagar. International Yoga Day has emerged as a powerful global health movement.
- Neeraj again clashed with Julian Weber in the 2025 Diamond League spear throwing event in Paris. Julian Weber threw 87.88 meters in his first attempt. But Neeraj threw 88.16 meters away.
- After throwing 88.16 meters in the first attempt, Neeraj Chopra threw 85.10 meters in his second attempt. He threw 82.89 meters in the last attempt.
- Although Julian Weber throws uniform distances at 87.88 meters, 86.20 meters, 82.03 meters, 83.13 meters, 84.50 meters and 81.08 meters, Neeraj's first attempt was not given to him. Thus Neeraj Chopra won.
- Through this victory, Neeraj Chopra has reunited in the Paris Diamond League after 2 years. Overall, this is his 5th Diamond League.
