Chief Minister Stalin inaugurated the Trichy Panchapur Bus Terminal
- In Trichy Panchapur, Chief Minister Stalin inaugurated the integrated bus terminal built with various facilities at a cost of Rs. 408 crore for public use. The inauguration ceremony of the integrated bus terminal and heavy goods vehicle terminal in Trichy Panchapur was held today.
- The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of a new vegetable market with modern facilities at the ceremony. Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated various welfare schemes worth Rs. 2,343.90 crore in Trichy district today and delivered a special speech.
- The Chief Minister inaugurated the Muthamizharignar Kalaignar Karunanidhi integrated bus terminal built in Panchapur and delivered a speech. The Chief Minister also provided various welfare assistance in Trichy today.
- The Panchapur bus terminal has been completed at a cost of Rs. 408.36 crore with various facilities such as electric lifts, escalators, and AC rooms.
- The situation in both countries is tense as the Indian and Pakistani armies have been engaged in heavy shelling in the border areas since last night. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met the three service chiefs today and held consultations after Pakistan carried out a series of attacks targeting Indian border towns.
- In this situation, the central government has given additional powers to Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi. “The Army Chief is given additional powers under the 1948 Army Act 33. Permission has been given to transfer soldiers of 14 out of the 32 armies in all regions to the border.
- The power to add personnel to the army and allocate funds is also given for 3 years till Feb. 9, 2028,” it was reported.
